Woman, 46, rolls vehicle; charged with DWI by Wyoming County deputies

MIDDLEBURY – A 46-year-old Wyoming woman was freed from her vehicle by deputies who charged her with driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest Tuesday in the Town of Middlebury.

Andrea Stern-Manley rolled her vehicle on East Bethany Road, and was trapped in the driver's seat, reported the Wyoming County Sheriff's Office.

Once extracted from the vehicle, Stern-Manley was placed under arrest for DWI, deputies said. She refused a breath test, deputies said.

She was also charged with: criminal mischief, refusing to submit to a breath test, and numerous Vehicle & Traffic violations.

Stern Manley is scheduled to appear Monday in Middlebury Town Court.
