Buffalo conference furniture maker DatesWeiser has been acquired by Knoll Inc., a Pennsylvania-based office furniture manufacturer.
DatesWeiser, which has 61 employees at its factory at 1700 Broadway, will continue to be led by Allan Weiser, the company's co-founder. Knoll also plans to expand its sales staff beyond its core markets of New York, Boston and Washington D.C., said David Bright, a Knoll senior vice president.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition is expected to expand Knoll's meeting and conference room product line by adding the wood conference and meeting room furniture made by DatesWeiser, Knoll said.
