Threatening neighbor with shotgun lands man in jail

A 31-year-old  Custer Street man was arrested by Buffalo police  early Wednesday after he allegedly threatened a neighbor with a loaded, double-barreled shotgun.

According to a police report, Curtis Nelson became irate and began to rampage during an argument with the neighbor, damaging  property and pointing the shotgun at the neighbor.

He was charged about 2 a.m. with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, fourth-degree criminal mischief, and second degree menacing and second-degree harassment. Nelson was jailed in the Erie County Holding Center.
