Traffic stop leads to two drug arrests

Francesco J. Humenyi, 21, of Sheridan Drive, Town of Tonawanda, and Frederick J. Hayden-Larson, 58, of Rochester, were arrested on drug charges after Humenyi failed to signal when he turned his car off Delaware Avenue onto Nottingham Terrace about 4 p.m. Monday.

Police reported finding a bag of crystal methamphetamine and a meth pipe with a drug scale in the vehicle. Humenyi was arrested for driving impaired by drugs.

Both men were charged with third and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

Humenyi was also charged with making an improper turn and having the vision of the rear window of his vehicle illegally obscured. Both suspects remained in custody at the Erie County Holding Center Tuesday night.
