Let’s work to eliminate city’s racial equity gap
The Buffalo History Museum was the site of the Racial Equity Roundtable’s report to the community on Tuesday. And how very appropriate the site was!
The members of the roundtable have begun the important work of ensuring that the “new Buffalo” we are building is one with prosperity, equity and opportunity, on every side of Main Street.
Their efforts will begin to shape the next chapter of Buffalo’s history. I’m honored to have been in the audience at the History Museum to be a part of this new chapter’s unfolding.
Let’s all join the roundtable in its commitment to eliminate the racial equity gap that exists in our community and to make our generation’s mark on Buffalo’s history.
