NIAGARA FALLS --  Santa Claus is coming to town and he’s arriving by Rainbow Air Helicopter for the first time.

Santa will touch down at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19 on Old Falls Street at Rainbow Boulevard, kicking off the holiday season in downtown Niagara Falls.

Families may have photos taken with live reindeer and Santa’s sleigh from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Children will be invited to hop on a free Old Falls Street train ride or visit the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute’s Gingerbread Wonderland. The train and Gingerbread Wonderland are open 5 to 9 p.m. Fridays, 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays, through Dec. 23.

In addition, Old Falls Street, USA, is celebrating Small Business Saturday by providing free horse and carriage rides from 1 to 6 p.m. on Nov. 26, to begin in front of the Culinary Institute, 28 Old Falls St..
