Buffalo man, 22, charged with aggravated DWI

A Buffalo man faces an aggravated driving while intoxicated charge after he was pulled over early Saturday morning on Interstate-190, the State Police said.

State police charged Ryan H. Machlowski, 22, after he was pulled over for speeding on the Niagara Thruway, according to the State Police.

Troopers found Machlowski to be intoxicated and transported him to the Clarence barracks where he registered a blood-alcohol content of 0.18 percent, police said. In addition to the aggravated DWI charge, he was also ticketed for numerous vehicle and traffic violations, authorities said.

Machlowski was released to a sober third party and is due in Buffalo City Court on Nov. 29.
