The Lupus Alliance of Upstate New York will host “Living Your Best Life,” a symposium for those affected by lupus and other autoimmune diseases, from 8:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at Templeton Landing downtown.

Presentations by Dr. Sadia Ahmed, a rheumatologist with UBMD physicians group; Dr. Michael Cummings, associate medical director, Behavioral Health Services at Erie County Medical Center; and Chris Nentarz, a physical therapist, performance specialist and educator, owner of Move Well Physical Therapy and co-founder of CrossFit Nickel City, will provide tools to manage chronic illness and live each day fully. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions during a panel discussion after the initial presentation. A vendor fair will follow the program.

Tickets are $20 and include continental breakfast. Reservations, which must be received by Monday, can be made by calling 835-7161, Ext. 2, or visiting lupusupstateny.org.
