Buffalo woman placed on probation in Falls beating

LOCKPORT - A Buffalo woman was sentenced Friday to five years' probation and $3,013 in restitution to a former Canisius College student who suffered head injuries in a beating and robbery in Niagara Falls last year.

Samantha C. Przybysz, 21, of Miller Avenue, had pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree robbery. She drove the robbers to and from the crime scene on Willow Avenue in the Falls, where the victim, Ricky Williams, was robbed of a $100 bag of marijuana.

Williams was attacked Nov. 21 with a baseball bat wielded by Antoine D. Robinson, 18, of Gatchell Street, Buffalo, and by Angelo D. Hestor, 18, of Dumas Place, Town of Tonawanda, who had what was believed to be a BB pistol. Both were sentenced previously to five years in prison. The woman who grabbed the pot, Imani Hardy, 18, of Mohawk Parkway, Town of Niagara, had received the same sentence as Przybysz. State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr. handled the case.
