A fire Sunday morning displaced three people from a home on the city's West Side, officials said.
Buffalo firefighters were called at 8:22 a.m. to 24 10th Street, between Carolina and Virginia streets, for a report of fire in the 2½ story frame home, according to the Fire Alarm Office.
The fire began outside the home and extended to the attic, officials said, and the cause remains under investigation. The American Red Cross was called to assist one adult and two children living in the lower unit.
Damage was listed at $50,000 to the structure and $10,000 to the contents. Alarm Office officials said they could not comment on whether there were any injuries.
