Backpacks filled with meat lead to arrests of Clarence residents

Two Clarence residents face larceny charges Thursday after their backpacks were found stuffed with packaged meat at an Elmwood Avenue supermarket, police reported.

Zachary Jividen, 23, and Mollie Timko, 20, both of Shimerville Road, were arrested after a store security officer stopped them outside Tops Market at 2101 Elmwood and discovered 11 packages of meat in the backpacks.

Jividen was also charged with narcotics possession after a heroin bag was discovered during processing at the Buffalo Police Department cell block.
