Safe Halloween party for kids in Niagara Falls

The City of Niagara Falls and its Department of Public Works will offer a safe alternative to going door-to-door at its community Halloween party on Halloween.

The free event will be hosted by the City of Niagara Falls Youth and Senior Services from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday in the John Duke Senior Center, 1201 Hyde Park Boulevard.

Children dressed in costumes will be eligible for  giveaways and will be able to participate in indoor trick or treating and outdoor "trunk" or treating. Please bring your own trick or treat bag.

Anyone with questions or those who would like to donate to the event can contact the Department of Public Works at 286-4840.
