Ryan's secret for beating Dolphins in Miami? 'Good Mexican food'

Between his head-coaching stints with the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills, Rex Ryan has won four games in a row against the Dolphins at Miami.

And it isn't as if he had good teams. Neither Ryan's last three Jets teams nor the 2015 Bills had winning records.

"I don't know," Ryan said Wednesday of his success in Miami. "Good Mexican food, I guess. I mean, I really don't (know).

"You know me. (The Mexican food theory) makes sense to me. But (it's) just we're ready to play and guys compete well."

Asked about handling the heat in South Florida, Ryan said, "We're very aware of the heat. I think the key is you've got to hydrate the whole week. It's not like one of those things you go out and hydrate the day before or the day of. You've got to be getting your rest, you've got to hydrate and getting off the field on third down will help us."
