Two people wanted in connection with a robbery at an M&T Bank on Oak Orchard Road in Elba in Genesee County early Tuesday afternoon are being sought by authorities.
Genesee County Sheriff Gary T. Maha said a teller was robbed at about 2:35 p.m. At least one bank worker observed the car used in the incident, a silver Dodge Stratus that was later found abandoned about one-tenth of a mile north of the bank, and provided a license plate number to the County Emergency Dispatch Center, authorities said.
Genesee County sheriff's deputies and State Police are investigating.
The pair was described as wearing face masks, gloves and dark-colored hoodies, according to authorities.
