Albion corrections officer charged with forcible touching of inmate

ALBION - State Police last week charged a corrections officer at Albion Correctional Facility with forcible touching and official misconduct.

Christopher M. Claud, 42, of Lockport was arrested Oct. 13, State Police said.

The state Department of Corrections and Community Supervision's Office of Special Investigations contacted State Police about Claud's alleged actions towards an inmate, the agency said.

Claud will face both misdemeanor charges in Albion Town Court later this month, police said.

Albion Correctional is a medium-security facility that houses female inmates.
