Bills inactives announced: Dareus not in the lineup again

The Buffalo Bills will be without Marcell Dareus on Sunday.

The Pro Bowl defensive tackle is out for the game against the San Francisco 49ers at New Era Field because of a hamstring injury.

That means Dareus’ season debut won’t come until Week Seven at the earliest.

Other inactives for the Bills on Sunday include: quarterback Cardale Jones, offensive tackle Seantrel Henderson, center Patrick Lewis, offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio and tight end Gerald Christian.

With Kouandjio and Henderson out, Michael Ola will serve as the swing tackle. The Bills are also going with just two tight ends, Charles Clay and Nick O’Leary.

Inactive for the 49ers are quarterback Christian Ponder, cornerback Jimmie Ward, safety Jaquiski Tartt, defensive tackle Tony Jerod-Eddie, offensive lineman John Theus, tight end Blake Bell and defensive tackle Taylor Hart.

Rookie Rashard Robinson will start at cornerback for Ward.
