Amanda Candella and Daniel Hooper marry

Amanda Candella and Daniel Hooper were married at noon on July 9 in St. Joseph University Catholic Church in Buffalo. Guests gathered for a reception at Banchetti by Rizzo in Getzville. Deacon Paul Emerson of Buffalo heard the couple’s vows. The bride’s parents are Edith R. and Michael A. Candella Jr. of Cheektowaga. The bridegroom’s parents are Daniel J. and Marlene M. Hooper of Williamsville. The bride, a graduate of Maryvale High School, earned a bachelor’s degree from Daemen College and master’s degree from SUNY Buffalo State. The bride is a teacher at International Preparatory School. The groom, a graduate of Williamsville South High School, earned an associate degree from Erie Community College. He is the fire chief at Main Transit Fire Department in Amherst, an assistant building inspector for the Town of Amherst and an EMT for Twin City Ambulance. After a trip to Jamaica and Grand Cayman Islands, the couple will make their home in Williamsville.
