DWI suspect 'goes deep' in explanation to Falls police

NIAGARA FALLS – Niagara Falls police said a driver told them she was “driving to hell” when she was pulled over Friday night, then charged with driving while intoxicated.
Nella C. Coyle, 35, of 73rd Street, was charged with DWI and consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle on a highway. Police said that about 8 p.m., they discovered her vehicle parked in the right lane in the 1000 block of Buffalo Avenue with its headlights off. The driver, they said, tried to drive off after spotting police.
Police also said they found an open 40-ounce beer in the vehicle.
