16-year-old killed in double shooting in Buffalo identified

A 16-year-old, Kristian Piazza of Buffalo, has died after a double shooting Thursday night in Buffalo, according to a Buffalo police spokesman.

The shooting happened near the intersection of Leroy Avenue and Hill Street at about 7:55 p.m. Thursday, according to Buffalo police.

Piazza died at Erie County Medical Center, police said.

The other shooting victim, Terrell Lockett, a 16-year-old male from Cheektowaga, was treated and released from ECMC, according to Michael J. DeGeorge, a Buffalo police department spokesman.
