Northtown Automotive will cut the ribbon on a new Kia dealership Thursday which will also house its Mazda dealership and a new Subaru dealership.
“Our new multi-store automotive complex was built at every turn with the customer in mind, ensuring we provide our customers with the best car buying and maintenance experience when they visit our new facility,” said, Harold Erbacher, chief operating officer at Northtown.
The 100,000-square-foot automotive complex is at 3900 Sheridan Drive in Amherst. It's situated next door to its former location at 3930 Sheridan Drive and is more than twice as large as the previous location.
The Mazda store opened last week, the Subaru store will open Monday.
The complex has a car wash, Kia gift shop, naturally lit showroom with floor-to-ceiling glass and climate-controlled service entrance with heated floors. The customer lounge has personal work areas, Wi-Fi. It also offers online scheduling.
Northtown was founded with one store in 1969. Today it has 16 franchises in nine locations in Amherst and the Town of Tonawanda. It employs 700 people.
