Have a slice, have a beer on International Beer and Pizza Day

Oct. 9 is a brand-new, unofficial holiday that many Western New Yorkers can appreciate. And given the region's rich food-and-drink scene, it's one that can be gladly, and easily, celebrated.

In Buffalo, there is no shortage of establishments for pizza-and-beer lovers to visit Sunday and enjoy a delectable slice and/or flavorful brews to show their love for the holiday.
