ALEXANDER – A Genesee County woman who police say overdosed on heroin has been charged with child endangerment.
Jill L. Hanlin’s son came home from school Tuesday afternoon to find her passed out, the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office said.
Hanlin, 39, was transported to United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia.
Hanlin was the only adult at the home and was responsible for the care of her child, the sheriff’s office said.
Child Protective Services was notified of the situation by emergency responders.
Deputies issued Hanlin an appearance ticket for Alexander Town Court for Oct. 25.
