‘Indie Author Day’ Saturday to celebrate local authors

A celebration of local authors will be held Saturday at the downtown Central Library, 1 Lafayete Square in Buffalo.

The first “Indie Author Day” will bring together 40 local authors from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. for the free event open to the public.

There will also be presentations from three local publishing experts and a live-stream featuring a global panel from the literary technology world, according to a Buffalo & Erie County Public Library news release. For more information, call 858-8900 or visit indieauthorday.com.

Central Library is one of nearly 300 libraries across the U.S. and Canada participating in the event.
