Lockport man pleads guilty in child porn case

LOCKPORT – David J. Drury, 21, of Lincolnshire Drive, Lockport, pleaded guilty to two child pornography felonies Friday in State Supreme Court.

Deputy District Attorney Holly E. Sloma said the Homeland Security Department seized a laptop computer and an iPhone when Drury was arrested in December; Drury agreed that those items will not be returned to him.

The arrest wrapped up an investigation of Drury that began in 2013, Sloma said. Drury pleaded guilty to two reduced charges of attempted promoting a sexual performance of a child as sexually motivated felonies. Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr. scheduled sentencing for Dec. 2.

Sloma said she won’t object if the sentence is probation as long as Drury continues doing well in sex offender counseling. But Kloch could send Drury to prison for as long as eight years, and regardless of the sentence, Drury also will have to register as a sex offender.
