Pergament’s attitude is insulting to many
Alan Pergament, a well-known liberal, wrote a column in Sunday’s News concerning the coming political TV show “Frontline,” which was to air on PBS the day after the first debate. The show focuses on biographical information about the two front-runners for president. It is common knowledge that PBS slants to the left and will undoubtedly show Trump in a negative light.
Pergament stated “… unfortunately it is on PBS, and may not reach the less educated white voters who have embraced Trump.”
Translation: If we liberals could only get the “unwashed” masses to watch PBS, they could be as smart as us and never vote for Trump. You wonder why the public hates the media. Wise up, Mr. Pergament.
