Autism Services Inc. is relocating its headquarters and main school site from Clarence to northwest Amherst, taking up a 50,000-square-foot facility in the Audubon Business Centre.
After a yearlong search and evaluation process, the nonprofit social services agency is moving from 4444 Bryant and Stratton Way to 30 and 40 Hazelwood Drive, as of February. The new location, between Sweet Home Road and Niagara Falls Boulevard, is owned by Uniland Development Co.
Autism Services’ current building, meanwhile, is under contract to be acquired by Unyts – formerly Upstate New York Transplant Services – which is currently located in downtown Buffalo, at 110 Broadway. Unyts put its own two-story, 51,552-square-foot building up for sale in July for $4.1 million.
