Federal funding to go toward school video collaboration

The Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) will receive a federal grant of $221,780 to increase video collaboration among 48 public schools in Western New York, Rep. Tom Reed, R-Corning, announced.

The funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development program for distance learning will expand course offerings for adult learners and high school students who wish to earn college credit.
