Austin's Tele Novella teams up with the Tins for Nietzsche's gig

Austin's dreamy psych-rock quartet Tele Novella is set to perform at 9 p.m. Oct. 1 at Nietzsche's (248 Allen St.).

After recently kicking off the East Coast string of its packed tour itinerary, the Texas four-piece has been busy road testing new material from its debut LP "House of Souls." The dates will find the group working its way south as it makes its way back home for the local release show on Halloween night. Fans of the Zombies, Camera Obscura and Belle & Sebastian would be wise to give the record a spin.

Tele Novella will make the most of its area, helping its soon-to-be tour maters in the Tins get a proper local send off before the garage-pop trio joins the group on tour. The Buffalo three-piece recently shared its latest single "Friday Afternoon" via Impose.

Bluesy folk group Jacob Peter band and the elusive yet tender dream poppers of Applennium will round out the full bill.

Doors open at 8 p.m. with a $10 cover. Further event details can be found here.
