Sunday jazz series set beginning at Carnegie Art Center

NORTH TONAWANDA – The weather is cooling down, but not the music as the Carnegie Art Center begins its seven week jazz concert series on Sunday with the Bobby Militello Quartet.

Militello, a jazz saxophonist, who plays multiple instruments, has performed with Maynard Ferguson and Dave Brubeck and is an active member of the Buffalo music scene.

Performances in the jazz series run from 3 to 5 p.m. and tickets are $10. Seating is limited. Presale tickets are available online at www.carnegieartcenter.

Future performances in the Carnegie Art Center, 240 Goundry Street, include: John Lehning Quartet, featuring Alex McArthur on Oct. 9; Walter Kemp and Gruvology on Oct. 23; Carina and the Six String Preacher on Oct. 30; Sharon Bailey on Nov. 6; Adam Bronstein and the Freehand Band on Nov. 13; and the Blue Stone Groom on Nov. 20.
