Jamestown Community College gets grant for occupational therapy clinic

JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Community College will receive a grant of $113,343 through the Appalachian Regional Commission to develop a teaching clinic in occupational therapy, Rep. Tom Reed, R-Corning, announced this week.

The teaching clinic will be established through JCC’s occupational therapy assistant program and will provide about 50 students with opportunities for field work. Local contributions of $119,436 also will support the program.
