Two drivers injured in downtown Buffalo collision

Two people were injured Monday morning in a crash in downtown Buffalo, police said.

The crash happened just after 8:15 a.m. at the intersection of Elm Street and Broadway. The impact of the crash sent one vehicle spinning into a utility pole, police said.

Both drivers, a man and a woman, told police they had the green light. Each suffered apparent non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Erie County Medical Center, police said.

No charges had been filed as of early Monday afternoon.
