Small plane makes ‘precautionary’ landing at Buffalo airport

A small airplane with three people aboard flying from Chicago to a business conference in Bedford, Mass., made a “safe, precautionary” landing at Buffalo Niagara International Airport about 6:20 p.m. Friday, according to NFTA spokesman C. Douglas Hartmeyer.

The pilot became concerned about a dashboard caution light and decided to divert the plane to Buffalo for a safety check, Hartmeyer said. The plane landed without a problem and taxied to Prior Aviation to be checked, he added.
