Jamestown health-care aide gets prison in theft of credit cards

A Jamestown woman was sentenced Friday by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara to a year in prison on her March 21 guilty plea to access device fraud.

Alicia Wilson, 37, also was ordered to pay $28,508.44 to three banks in the aftermath of purchases and cash withdrawals made after stealing credits cards of an elderly jamestown-area couple while working as a home health-care aide.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Marie Grisanti said the restitution will go to the Bank of America, Capital One Bank and the Citizen’s Bank.
