Gov. Cuomo to appear in Buffalo on Friday

ALBANY – A day after federal prosecutors characterized the bidding process for the Buffalo Billion contract a criminal enterprise, Gov. Andrew Cuomo is heading to Buffalo Friday afternoon. Cuomo’s office released his Friday schedule on Thursday night.

Regardless of his reason for the visit, the usual post-event question and answer period Cuomo holds with reporters is expected to focus exclusively on the corruption charges brought Thursday by U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara against a number of people close to Cuomo, including those involved in the state’s Buffalo Billion bidding process.
