The University at Buffalo School of Law has exceeded its goal of raising $30 million in a philanthropic campaign that began in 2009, university officials announced Monday.
The campaign provides increased scholarship aid to students, support for faculty and program and facilities improvements for the school. It helped double the size of the school’s endowment within the past seven years.
More than 6,000 donors contributed to the campaign, which netted a $30,009,234, including six commitments of at least $1 million and a $4 million deferred gift commitment.
“The success of this campaign demonstrates the strong support for both the School of Law, and UB more broadly, by our many alumni and university friends who are vitally important as we build even further upon our vision of excellence and deepen our impact as a world-class public research university,” said UB President Satish K. Tripathi.
