Buffalo man charged with DWI after vehicle stop

Bernard N. Pryor II, 67, of Buffalo, was pulled over at a Town of Tonawanda street corner because of an inoperable brake light Saturday morning, but ended up being charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, Town of Tonawanda police said.

After Pryor was pulled over at Sheridan Parkside Drive and Ensminger Road about 10:40 a.m. he displayed signs of alcohol on his breath, according to a police report. After testings he was allegedly found to have a blood-alcohol level of 0.19 percent, more than twice the state’s legal limit.

Pryor was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and having improper automobile equipment, according to police.
