Donnell Bibbes, the 8-year-old Buffalo boy who was shot last month, is showing signs of improvement.
Monday afternoon, Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo announced his condition has been upgraded to serious and stable.
Bibbes had been listed in critical condition since he was shot in the head Aug. 26 while sitting in a parked car with his mother and two older brothers on South Division Street.
Hospital officials said the boy is “currently off of life support and making slow progress.”
The Bibbes family asked for privacy and prayers for Donnell.
No arrests have been made in connection with his shooting.
