Two people were robbed at gunpoint over the weekend at around the same time in separate parts of the city, Buffalo police reported.
One happened at around 3 a.m. Saturday in the city’s LaSalle neighborhood, where a 19-year-old male was jumped by four others while on Comstock near Berkshire avenues, according to police reports. The victim was hit in the back of the head with what appeared to be a handgun, before his attackers aimed the weapon at the back of his head. The teenager was robbed of a cell phone and $200 cash.
His assailants sped away on Comstock in a small, gray sport-utility vehicle.
At around the same time in the city’s Perry neighborhood, another person was robbed at gunpoint by two males while in the 300 block of Perry, police reported. The suspects took $10, a cell phone and house keys from the victim before taking off toward Louisiana Street in a small vehicle with dark-tinted windows.
