Suspect in downtown Buffalo stabbing charged with attempted murder

Police have arrested a suspect in a stabbing attack Monday in downtown Buffalo.

Central District detectives Saturday charge Hodjee Robins, 23, of no permanent address with attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

Police say Robins stabbed the victim, described as a longtime friend, during a dispute just after 1 p.m. near Court and Pearl streets.

Quinn Eatmon, 24, of Buffalo is listed in fair condition in Erie County Medical Center.

Kenmore police arrested Robins on unrelated charges Friday, when they learned he was being sought in the stabbing.

Buffalo police said surveillance video played a key role in the investigation.
