Two prostitution stings on Grand Island on Wednesday night led to five arrests and the location of a stolen car, the Erie County Sheriff’s Office said.
The sheriff’s office did not disclose the location of the operations.
The first bust netted three arrests of Niagara Falls residents: Barbara Schreiner, 25; Shawn Pryor, 24; and Nichelle Robinson, 18, the sheriff’s office.
Schreiner was charged with prostitution and criminal possession of stolen property; Pryor was charged with promoting prostitution, criminal possession of stolen property and unauthorized use of a vehicle; Robinson was charged with criminal possession of stolen property.
The second bust saw Malissa Collins, 34, and Amy Lindgren, 36, both of Buffalo, charged with prostitution.
Each person was being held in the Erie County Holding Center and was scheduled to be arraigned in Grand Island Town Court on Thursday.
