Niagara Street man, 55, stabbed

A Niagara Street man was stabbed by a man he was arguing with about money in the 2100 block of Niagara at about 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, according to Buffalo police.

The injured man, 55, was taken by ambulance to the Erie County Medical Center for treatment of what police described as apparently non-life-threatening injuries, according to Buffalo police.

The unidentified attacker fled before police and Buffalo fire emergency medical crews arrived at the scene.

According to a police report, the wounded victim was not willing to identify his attacker for police officers. No suspect was in custody Tuesday.
