ORTH, Marian

ORTH - Marian Of Fort Worth, TX; much loved wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother, went to heaven on Saturday, September 3, 2016. Mass of Christian Burial, 10 AM Wednesday September 7th at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, Fort Worth. Vigil was 7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Community Hospice of Texas.
Marian was born and raised in Sharon, PA, where she met Clair Orth who soon became the love of her life. They were married in Sharon and raised their three children in Buffalo, NY. After all their children fled snow country and moved to Texas, Marian and Clair retired and moved to Texas in 1989 to be with their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. After raising her children, Marian worked for the church, volunteered countless hours and served as an Extraordinary Eucharistic Minister of the sick. Marian and Clair's strong faith led them on numerous pilgrimages, including to Guadalupe, Mexico, Medjugorje, Fatima, Portugal, the Vatican and the Holy Land.
Husband of 64 years, Clair F. Orth; children, Gerry Orth (Susan), Carole Axthelm (Dan), Ron Orth (Kay); grandchildren, Candice Kostyniak (Michael), Ryan Orth (Michelle), Blake Orth, Zoe Lassiter (Yancy), Hana Axthelm, Clare Axthelm, Grace Axthelm, Katie Seiken (Nick), Matthew Orth; and great-grandchildren, Weston Kostyniak, Franklin Lassiter, and Harper and Scarlet Seiken.
