If you thought Saturday’s weather was ideal, it’s only going to get better over the next three days.
Skies will remain sunny and the mercury will keep rising over the rest of the Labor Day weekend and into Tuesday – just in time for the first day of school.
“Summer is not done yet,” said David Thomas, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service at Buffalo Niagara Airport in Cheektowaga.
“We’re not looking for any rainfall across the region until Wednesday.”
Sunday’s high is expected to reach 80, topping Saturday’s peak of 75 degrees. Monday’s high is expected to be 83, followed by 85 on Tuesday and 88 degrees on Wednesday.
