Buffalo man accused of refusing to leave pharmacy, threatening police

A Hoyt Street man faces several charges after refusing to leave a Delaware Avenue pharmacy and then making threats to Buffalo police officers, according to police reports.

Carlyle Jones, 36, is accused of threatening customers and staff about 11:20 p.m. at the Rite Aid Pharmacy at Delaware and West Delavan avenues, police reported.

Jones later made threats to “shoot police” and yelled obscenities at officers after he was apprehended, according to police reports.

Jones faces charges of trespass, harassment and disorderly conduct.
