The board of directors of the Food Bank of Western New York elected John F. Dunbar Jr., University at Buffalo School of Management; and Michael J. Mann, P.E.; McMahon & Mann Consulting Engineers, as chair emeriti. Dunbar was re-elected to the position after having completed a one-year term as chair emeritus. Elected to the Food Bank’s 2016-17 Executive Committee were: Tom Berical, CPA, Freed Maxick CPAs; Jerry Sheldon, Habitat for Humanity - Buffalo; Kevin Darrington, Tops Markets; and Tim Wangler, Wegmans Food Markets Inc.
Mark C. Massaro, a financial/private wealth advisor with Ameriprise Financial, has earned membership in the company’s Hall of Fame.
Lisa Ettipio-Lauciello of Bryant and Stratton online division was elected president of Buffalo Niagara Sales & Marketing Executives. She succeeds Jim Gannon, who remains on the board of directors as immediate past president. Nicole Meisenburg, account manager at Manzella Marketing, was named executive vice president. Additional officers for 2016-17 are: Anthony Blasting, Jill Pawlik, Michael Donovan, Mary Anne Cappon and Fran Vaughan.
The Canisius Center for Professional Development announced that it moved back to the college’s main campus, at 2001 Main St. in Buffalo, for the start of the fall 2016 academic semester. The center’s executive and continuing education programs will now be housed in Science Hall, Room 1005. The center was previously located at 300 Corporate Parkway in Amherst.
Noco Express customers and employees helped to raise $13,743 for the United Way of Buffalo & Erie County. Throughout July, donations were collected at all 36 Noco Express stores through a paper T-shirt pin up campaign.
