Devil’s And 1 won the Women’s Open Division and Root Beer Floaters took the Men’s Open title in the recent 14th annual Wilson Harbor Hoops 3 on 3 Tournament. Jamie Curry, Jessica Ginter, Emily Lasher and Jenna Einink made up the Women’s Open championship team. Connor Sears, Brad Bobbitt, Jake O’Keefe and Bryant Geise were on the men’s championship team. HOCKEY: Registration for the Buffalo Stars Fall Beginner Program will be held in the lobby of Holiday Twin Rinks, 3465 Broadway, Cheektowaga on Wednesday, 5:00-6:30 p.m., Saturday, 1:00-3:00 p.m. and Sept. 14, 5:00-6:30 p.m. The Stars offer several options for the beginner player ages 4-9 including a flex 5-pack, 15-pack, or full season option. ICE SKATING: Learn to skate classes for hockey players and figure skaters will start the week of September 12.
