Tommyrotter Distillery has expanded its distribution into Massachusetts.
Partners Sean Insalaco and Robert Finan have teamed up with Massachusetts-based Ruby Wines, a family-run business founded in 1921, to distribute its spirits there.
Ruby Wines is in its fourth generation of family ownership, led by CEO Robert Rubin. Its portfolio of wine and spirits includes Whistle Pig Rye Whiskey, Bunnahabhain Scotch Whisky and Excellia Tequila.
Tommyrotter makes American Gin, Small Batch Vodka and a limited-release Cask Strength Bourbon Barrel Gin.
The Seneca Street-based Tommyrotter opened its doors in the F.N. Burt building in the Larkin District last summer. It makes small-batch spirits using corn and wheat sourced in New York State.
