New this season: The News will select a Prep Talk Player of the Week

The News will be selecting a Prep Talk Football Player of the Week based on the Connolly Cup nominations.
The first News football Player of the Week will be posted Sunday night (Sept. 4). It will be posted along with the weekly Connolly Cup honor roll.
The News will also be selecting Prep Talk Players of the Week for fall sports, one male and one female, starting in our first Scholastic Spotlight issue (Sept. 14).
