Little League victimized by Falls burglary

NIAGARA FALLS – The Midtown Little League is crying foul after thieves broke in and stole a TV and other electronics from their equipment room over the weekend.

Paul Tiberi, president of Midtown, told police on Monday that sometime over the weekend someone damaged a door handle and broke a lock to gain entry to the restroom in Hyde Park.

Once inside, the intruder was able to scale a 10-foot block wall to enter the equipment room, according to the police report. Stolen were a 32-inch flat screen television and direct TV satellite receiver. One of the eight surveillance cameras around the building was also damaged, police reported.

Damages and losses were estimated at $925.
