Aggravated DWI, marijuana charges follow failure to dim high beams

KENNEDY – A Jamestown man faces charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated and marijuana possession after a traffic stop Sunday, State Police said.

Steven Ward, 46, was pulled over on Route 62 for failing to dim his high beams, police said.

Ward failed field sobriety tests and was arrested. State Police reported they found a bag with marijuana and a marijuana cigarette inside Ward’s pockets.

At the Jamestown barracks, Ward registered a blood-alcohol content of 0.18 percent.

Troopers issued Ward appearance tickets for Poland Town Court for next month.
